Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Import & Customs Operations Staff to support our logistics and import activities. The role requires hands-on experience with freight forwarding and strong understanding of Indonesian import-export rules.

The candidate will coordinate with PPJK, warehouses, and service providers to ensure smooth clearance and timely delivery. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in relevant fields, fluent English, and proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma relevant to logistics or business.
• 5+ years in freight forwarding, logistics, import-export, or customs.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian import-export regulations and customs procedures.
• Experience reviewing PIB and other customs documents.
• Experience coordinating with PPJK, freight forwarders, warehouses, and customs authorities.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify import documentation, including PIB and supporting customs documents.
• Coordinate with PPJK, freight forwarders, and customs-related parties for efficient clearance.
• Monitor import/export shipments and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with warehouses on goods receiving, inventory, and deliveries.
• Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulations.
• Follow up on shipment status and resolve operational issues in logistics and customs.
