Job summary

Ambarrukmo Group is seeking a qualified MEP Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our hospitality, retail and lifestyle projects in Indonesia. You will ensure efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with contractors and internal teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 2–5 years of related experience, with strong knowledge of HVAC,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in project management/consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and BMS.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance systems and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of MEP systems.
• Ensure MEP systems run safely, efficiently and in compliance with standards.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Monitor utilities usage (electricity, water, HVAC) and implement efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance, repairs, and project work.
• Support renovation and fit-out projects related to MEP systems.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building procedures.

Ambarrukmo Group is currently undertaking strategic development projects across our integrated lifestyle, hospitality, and retail properties. We are seeking a qualified Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Engineer to support and ensure the successful execution of these projects.

Responsibilities:

• 1. Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
• 2. Ensure all MEP systems run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable standards and regulations
• 3. Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs
• 4. Monitor utilities usage (electricity, water, HVAC) and implement efficiency improvements
• 5. Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance, repairs, and project work
• 6. Support renovation and fit-out projects related to MEP systems
• 7. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and maintenance records
• 8. Ensure compliance with safety standards and building operational procedures

Qualification Requirement

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 2. Minimum 2-5 years of experience project manager/ consultant.
• 3. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and building management systems (BMS)
• 4. Familiar with preventive maintenance systems and troubleshooting techniques
• 5. Good understanding of safety standards and regulations
• 6. Able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• 7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• 8. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• 9. Will work in shifts if required
