Job summary

APRIL is seeking an experienced Electrical Planner to develop, plan, and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for electrical equipment at a paper-related facility. You will manage SAP PM-driven work orders and collaborate with Production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in electrical maintenance planning, is proficient in SAP PM, and can read electrical diagrams. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience as Electrical Planner/Planner or similar.
• Hands-on experience using SAP PM is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, and work order management.
• Experience planning maintenance for electrical equipment (motors, MCC, switchgear, transformers, VFDs, UPS).
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, planning, coordination, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for electrical equipment to ensure reliability and plant availability.
• Create and manage maintenance work orders, job plans, task lists, and maintenance schedules using SAP PM.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, Electrical Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, and other departments to optimize downtime.
• Plan manpower, materials, spare parts, tools, and maintenance duration to support efficient execution.
• Monitor maintenance backlog and ensure planned work is executed on schedule.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Procurement to ensure spare parts availability.
• Maintain equipment history, maintenance records, and master data in SAP PM.
• Analyze maintenance data and KPIs to improve planning, reliability, and efficiency.
• Ensure planning activities comply with company procedures and safety standards.

• Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, Electrical Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, and other related departments to optimize equipment downtime.
• Plan manpower, materials, spare parts, tools, and maintenance duration to support efficient maintenance execution.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Planner, Electrical Maintenance Planner, or similar role in a Paper Mill, Board Mill, Pulp Mill, or other continuous process industries.
• Hands-on experience using SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of maintenance planning, scheduling, work order management, and shutdown planning.
• Experience in planning maintenance for electrical equipment such as motors, MCC, switchgear, transformers, VFDs, UPS, and power distribution systems.
• Able to prepare job plans, task lists, BOMs, maintenance notifications, and work orders in SAP PM.
• Able to read and interpret single-line diagrams, electrical drawings, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, planning, coordination, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
