What You Will Experience
- Lead and supervise electrical maintenance activities within power plant and co-generation facilities.
- Plan and coordinate preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of 3.3kV, 6.3kV, 20kV Medium Voltage systems and High Voltage electrical systems.
- Supervise maintenance of transformers, motors, generators, MCCs, MV/HV switchgear, protection relays, and electrical distribution systems.
- Coordinate electrical maintenance activities supporting steam turbines, boilers, generators, and balance-of-plant equipment.
- Support shutdown planning, load shedding, black start procedures, and emergency recovery activities.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical drawings, applicable codes, and engineering standards.
- Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, inspection, and calibration of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Coordinate routine and preventive maintenance programs for electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Conduct fault analysis, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment failures.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce electrical safety procedures, including safe practices for MV/HV systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors regarding materials, spare parts, services, quality, and delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and supervision to technicians and junior engineers.
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, progress updates, and project documentation.
- Monitor schedules, budgets, work orders, and administration for electrical maintenance and project activities.
- Use SAP PM or other CMMS platforms for maintenance planning, execution, and documentation.
What is Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of electrical maintenance experience in power plants, co-generation facilities, utilities, smelters, mining, or heavy industry.
- Hands on experience with Low Voltage and High Voltage electrical systems.
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting: 3.3kV, 6.3kV, and 20kV switchgear; HV switchgear and electrical distribution systems; Transformers, motors, generators, and MCCs Protective relays and electrical protection systems.
- Knowledge of steam turbine, boiler, generator, and co-generation plant operations.
- Able to interpret single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and technical documentation.
- Skilled in fault analysis, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and electrical equipment failure investigation.
- Experience in electrical installation quality control, inspection, testing, construction, and commissioning.
- Familiar with electrical safety regulations, lockout-tagout procedures, permit-to-work systems, and MV/HV safe work practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP PM or other CMMS software.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both verbal and written.
