Qualifications

• Possess at least 1–2 years of hands-on experience as a Cook or Commis within a reputable restaurant, hotel, or retail F&B environment.
• Demonstrate a solid command of foundational cooking techniques and culinary ingredients.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining composure and efficiency under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with a keen focus on flavor precision and presentation consistency.
• Strong team player with effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Comfortable working flexible schedules, including shift work, weekends, and public holidays.
• A educational background or vocational qualification in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes in strict adherence to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain an organized, pristine, and fully stocked culinary station ahead of and during service hours.
• Support efficient inventory management and active waste-reduction initiatives through accurate portion control.
• Uphold rigorous hygiene, sanitation, and food safety protocols (HACCP) across all food preparation areas.
• Collaborate seamlessly with the kitchen brigade to ensure prompt, smooth, and consistent execution during high-volume periods.
• Safely operate and maintain kitchen machinery and tools, ensuring prompt reporting of any maintenance needs.
