Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Document Controller in Jakarta, Indonesia to support the Project Manager with documentation and drawings, with preferred AutoCAD experience.

You will manage project docs for invoicing, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and ensure QMS compliance. This role is based in Jakarta and offers responsibilities across project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field.
• 1-2 years of project management experience.
• Experience with electrical engineering systems across industries.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project documentation for invoicing and drawing preparation.

• Communicate with accounting to ensure subcontract docs are executed before payment.
• Collaborate with subcontractors during pre-construction, construction and close-out.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Assist Project Managers with contract docs, change orders, approvals.
• Utilize AutoCAD for project work.
• Attend project meetings and take notes.
• Support Quality Management System processes and initiatives.

This role will assist the Project Manager in documentation and drawing(checks and minor edits). Having autocad experience is preferred.

What you’ll do:

• The primary function of the job is managing all the project documentation for invoicing and prepare drawing for approval within the country.
• Coordinate internal resources and 3rd parties/vendors quality controls of project documentation to ensure deliverables meet requirements.
• Prepare and provide documentation to internal teams , customer and key stakeholders.
• Communicate with accounting to ensure all subcontract documents are fully executed prior to payment.
• Communicate and collaborate with subcontractors during pre-construction, construction and job close-out phases of project
• Working in collaboration with the project team members to meet with project expectation.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Effectively collaborate with Project Managers regarding contract documents, change orders, contract modifications and approvals
• Having the ability to operate AutoCAD.
• Attend all project meetings and take notes
• To be committed & responsible for Quality Management System:
• Implement the process approach and risk-based thinking
• Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS
• Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS requirements
• Ensuring the QMS meets its goals
• Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to the QMS

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related Engineering discipline
• 1-2 years of project management experience
• Hands-on experience with Power Quality and Power Distribution products, preferably gained as a Service Engineer early in the candidate's career
• Knowledge of electrical engineering systems across a broad range of industries, including commercial, mining, utilities, and industrial sectors
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to use it effectively for engineering and project-related work
• Good verbal and written communication skills
