Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Project Engineer in Jakarta, Indonesia, to lead electrical project delivery and ensure compliance with QMS standards. You will drive budget, schedule, and stakeholder coordination for electrical switchboards, UPS, and modular power systems.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in project management for electrical infra, with AutoCAD proficiency and a broad understanding of data centers, commercial buildings, and utilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in Electrical Switchboards, UPS systems, and modular prefabricated power train units.
• Familiarity with electrical systems across data centers, commercial, mining and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement all the awarded projects.
• Manage project budget and schedule within scope and contract.
• Coordinate and manage third parties involved in a project.
• Resolve project-related issues and risks.
• Collaborate with solution team to resolve scope disputes.
• Monitor project works to ensure quality per company standards.
• Support Quality Management System implementation and adherence.
• Apply process approach and risk-based thinking.
• Provide support to sustain the QMS.
• Communicate importance of conforming to QMS requirements.
• Engage and support personnel contributing to the QMS.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Implement all the awarded projects.
• Manage all the budget and schedule of the project and ensure all is within the scope and contract schedule.
• Manage all third parties involved in a project.
• Exercise a solution for all the difficulties in the project activities.
• Collaborate with solution team to work on any dissipate in the scope of project.
• Monitor all the project works and ensure all the quality is within the acceptance based on the company standard.
• To be committed & responsible for Quality Management System:
• Implement the process approach and risk‑based thinking.
• Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS.
• Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS requirements.
• Ensuring the QMS meets its goals.
• Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to the QMS.
• Create a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years of project management experience in Electrical Switchboards, UPS systems, and Modular Prefabricated Power Train Units / E-House projects.
• Hands‑on experience with power distribution systems (switchboards) and power quality products (UPS), ideally gained through an early‑career service engineer role.
• Broad knowledge of electrical engineering systems across various industries, including data centers, commercial buildings, mining, utilities, and industrial applications.
• Familiarity with switchboard and panel builder manufacturing processes.
• Working knowledge of IEC 61439 and IEC 62271 standards.
• Knowledge of switchboard and UPS testing, commissioning, and service activities; hands‑on experience is an advantage.
• Experience managing Prefabricated Power Train Units, including system configuration, structural design, mechanical design, electrical design, and HVAC design.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and use AutoCAD effectively.
