Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Jakarta, Indonesia invites applications for a Project Engineer in our Electrical business. The role focuses on managing project implementation and services within the country, with emphasis on switchboards, UPS, and data-center related projects.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of project management experience, plus hands-on knowledge of power distribution and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years of project management experience in Electrical Switchboards, UPS systems, and Modular Prefabricated Power Train Units / E-House projects.
• Hands-on experience with power distribution systems (switchboards) and power quality products (UPS).
• Familiarity with IEC61439 and IEC62271 standards.
• Experience managing Prefabricated Power Train Units, including system configuration, mechanical design, electrical design, and HVAC design.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and use AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Implement all awarded projects within the country.
• Manage budget and schedule of the project within scope and contract schedule.
• Coordinate and manage all third parties involved in a project.
• Address and resolve scope and project activity challenges.
• Collaborate with the solution team to address scope dissipations.
• Monitor project works to ensure quality per company standards.
• Support and uphold Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:

The primary function of the job is managing all the project implementation and services within the country.

• A. Implement all the awarded projects.
• B. Manage all the budget and schedule of the project and ensure all is within the scope ad contract schedule.
• C. Manage all third parties involve in a project.
• D. Exercise a solution all the difficulties in the project activities.
• E. Collaborate with solution team to work on any dissipate in the scope of project.
• F. Monitor all the project works and ensure all the quality is within the acceptance based on the company standard.
• G. To be committed & responsible for Quality Management System:
  • a. Implement the process approach and risk-based thinking
  • b. Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS
  • c. Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS requirements
  • d. Ensuring the QMS meets its goals
  • e. Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to the QMS
  • f. Create a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years of project management experience in Electrical Switchboards, UPS systems, and Modular Prefabricated Power Train Units / E-House projects.
• Hands‑on experience with power distribution systems (switchboards) and power quality products (UPS), ideally gained through an early‑career service engineer role.
• Broad knowledge of electrical engineering systems across various industries, including data centers, commercial buildings, mining, utilities, and industrial applications.
• Familiarity with switchboard and panel builder manufacturing processes.
• Working knowledge of IEC61439 and IEC62271 standards.
• Knowledge of switchboard and UPS testing, commissioning, and service activities; hands‑on experience is an advantage.
• Experience managing Prefabricated Power Train Units, including system configuration, structural design, mechanical design, electrical design, and HVAC design.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and use AutoCAD effectively.
