Job summary

PT Gandum Mas Kencana is seeking a seasoned Logistics Distribution Specialist to manage daily distribution of finished goods to distributor warehouses, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate quantities in line with the Distribution Plan.

The role requires coordinating loading, monitoring shipments, and maintaining warehouse stock accuracy, while optimizing transportation costs and evaluating transport partners for performance and value. Willingness to work in Tangerang area is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Management, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in distribution, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, preferably in FMCG, Food Manufacturing, or Consumer Goods industries.
• Strong understanding of distribution processes, transportation management, and outbound logistics operations.
• Experienced in coordinating delivery schedules, shipment monitoring, and warehouse distribution activities.
• Familiar with transporter/vendor management, including performance evaluation and cost negotiation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to optimize transportation costs and improve operational efficiency.
• Good knowledge of inventory accuracy, shipping documentation, and logistics administration processes.
• Able to handle delivery claims, shipment discrepancies, and operational problem-solving effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP/SAP/Microsoft Dynamics AX
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight delivery timelines.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, and highly responsible in operational execution.
• Willing to be placed in Tangerang City or warehouse operational areas if required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute finished goods delivery to distributor warehouses based on the Daily Distribution Plan (DDP) issued by the Distribution Planning team, ensuring products are delivered on time, in the correct quantity, and in good condition upon arrival at distributors/customers.
• Monitor delivery operations by ensuring the loading process of finished goods into trucks/containers is carried out properly, with accurate product types and quantities in accordance with shipping documents, to ensure smooth distribution processes, timely delivery, product quality maintenance, and warehouse stock accuracy.
• Plan and optimize transportation costs for each finished goods delivery process to achieve operational cost efficiency without compromising service quality.
• Analyze and evaluate the performance of existing transport partners, as well as identify and select potential new transport partners, to ensure optimal logistics partnerships in terms of cost efficiency, service quality, and operational performance before, during, and after the delivery process.
• Prepare and manage transportation payment administration accurately and on time, coordinate with the Finance team regarding payment processes to transport partners, and identify as well as manage delivery claims to support deduction processes when necessary.
