Job summary

Mastercard Services in Southeast Asia seeks a Director, Services Business Development to lead high-level client engagements with Issuers and Merchants, developing strategies and value propositions across the payments lifecycle.

You will drive consulting sales, lead rigorous analyses, and guide project teams to deliver clear recommendations and winning proposals for regional and global clients.

Qualifications

• Proven consulting experience at a top-rated firm or equivalent business management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
• Professional level English language capability is required.
• Strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills, including the ability to interpret large data sets and translate findings into recommendations.
• Strong presence & communication skills – both interpersonal & written.
• Excellent client management & engagement management skills.
• Proven team player with ability to work with all levels in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop relevant and value-creating analysis and insight for clients.
• Build strategies, propositions & operating models independently or with a consulting team.
• Apply quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify client issues.
• Synthesize analysis into clear proposals and recommendations with high-quality reports and presentations.
• For small engagements, manage project staffing and overall delivery.
• Develops, defines and reviews required analyses.
• Develops working relationships with mid to senior client management.
• Implement strategies to achieve goals and maintain client relationships.
• Support Mastercard Services and local market teams in business development.
