Job summary

Wirehire is seeking a Director / General Manager (Agri) in Jakarta to lead the agriculture business, form market-driven strategies for fertilizers, biostimulants and micronutrients, and oversee distributor networks across regions.

The role requires a proven leadership track record, deep distributor management experience, and strong financial acumen to drive growth and regulatory compliance in Indonesia’s agribusiness sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Management, Economics or related field, Master’s a plus.
• Minimum 10–15 years in the agricultural sector, fertilizers or crop nutrition.
• Proven track record as Sales/Business/Branch/General Manager with distributor experience.
• Strong knowledge of biostimulants and micronutrients.
• Deep distributor management expertise: sales planning, channel management, pricing, margins.
• Financial literacy: ability to analyze P&L, cash flow, AR/AP.
• Leadership to manage large, multi-area teams across regions.
• Extensive network of principals, distributors and farmer communities.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute market-driven sales strategies for fertilizers, biostimulants and micronutrients.
• Oversee end-to-end distributor operations: sales, marketing, agronomy, logistics and finances.
• Set sales targets, market coverage, and establish strong distribution channels.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing sales and agronomy team.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with principals, distributors and key accounts.
• Oversee campaigns, product trials and market education programs.
• Analyze performance, margins, cash flow and inventory; forecast and rotate stock.
• Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations and principal policies.
• Prepare management reports and present insights to executives.
