QCOMM in Jakarta seeks an experienced digital crisis communications lead to guide client responses when issues break online. You will monitor conversations, assess sentiment, write holding statements, and coordinate with teams for timely actions.

You will work directly with clients, translating data into strategic recommendations, risk mitigation, and post-crisis improvements. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is required, with strong writing and presentation skills.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in digital communications or crisis roles.
  • Experience handling 3–5 digital crises from monitoring to post-crisis reporting.
  • Proven ability to create social media strategies for corporate/B2B brands.
  • Proficient with social listening tools to identify trends and risks.
  • Translate volume and sentiment into actionable recommendations.
  • Develop crisis materials including holding statements and FAQs.
  • Experience leading live crisis responses and presenting insights to clients.

Lead the digital response when it matters most. When an issue breaks online, there is little room for hesitation. Our clients need someone who can quickly understand what is happening, separate noise from risk, and turn information into a clear course of action.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead digital monitoring and early issue identification
  • Assess conversations, sentiment, reach and potential impact
  • Identify risks before they become larger issues
  • Develop digital crisis response strategies and recommendations
  • Write and oversee response content, social copy, holding statements and FAQs
  • Turn real time data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Work with team to develop crisis playbooks, response frameworks and scenarios
  • Work directly with clients and lead digital discussions
  • Lead post crisis analysis and recommend improvements
About you
  • 7 years of hands-on experience in digital communications, social media, digital agency, crisis communications or a related role
  • Experience managing at least 3–5 digital issues or crisis situations, from monitoring and assessment through response and post-crisis reporting
  • Experience developing and executing social media strategies and content plans for corporate, B2B or regulated brands
  • Proven experience using social listening tools such as Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Meltwater, Sprinklr or similar to identify trends, emerging issues and reputational risks
  • Able to analyse volume, sentiment, reach, engagement and conversation drivers and turn them into clear recommendations
  • Experience developing crisis response materials, including holding statements, social copy, FAQs, Q&As, response scenarios and escalation plans
  • Experience managing or supporting real-time social media response during a live issue
  • Experience presenting digital insights, issue assessments and recommendations to clients or senior stakeholders
  • Strong writing skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English, particularly for sensitive or time-critical communications
