QComm is a public relations and communications consulting firm based in South Jakarta. We are looking for an Associate Consultant to join our team, someone who is interested in PR and communications, follows what is happening around them, enjoys writing and research, and is comfortable working with clients, media and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, Business or a related field.
• Around 2-3 years of experience in PR, communications, journalism, media, content or a related field.
• Fresh graduates with strong internship, campus organisation or project experience are welcome.
• Strong Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Interested in business, media, technology, culture and current affairs.
• Comfortable using social media and digital platforms.
• Curious and willing to learn.
• Able to research and make sense of information.
• Organised and able to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor news, media, social media and industry developments relevant to clients.
• Research industries, companies, issues and trends and share useful findings with the team.
• Research and develop media angles, story ideas and communication opportunities.
• Write press releases, media pitches, articles, bylines, talking points, presentations and other PR materials.
• Research and maintain media lists.
• Build and maintain good relationships with journalists, editors, creators and other relevant stakeholders.
• Pitch relevant client stories to media.
• Communicate with clients through email, calls and meetings.
• Support day-to-day client coordination and follow-ups.
• Prepare media monitoring and campaign reports.
