Pengiklan Anonim is seeking skilled Desktop & Laptop Support Technicians to install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 across office devices. You will image desktops/laptops, install drivers and security updates, and address hardware or software issues to ensure secure, reliable workstations.
The role requires 1–3 years of end-user support, familiarity with AD/Entra ID, and strong customer communication.
Desktop & Laptop Support Technicians install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows-based computers. They provide technical support to end users, resolve hardware and software issues, and ensure devices remain secure, updated, and operational.
Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows 10 and Windows 11
Format and reimage desktops and laptops using standard operating-system image
Install device drivers, security updates, patches, and approved applications
Diagnose and resolve hardware, operating-system, software, performance, and startup issues
Troubleshoot printers, scanners, docking stations, monitors, and other peripherals
Configure email, user profiles, antivirus software, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and LAN connectivity
Join computers to Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID and apply required policies
Perform basic user-account, password, access, and group-management activities
Set up devices for new employees and recover equipment during employee exits
Back up and restore user data during repairs, replacements, and migrations
Replace or upgrade components such as RAM, storage drives, batteries, keyboards, and power adapters
Provide remote and on-site technical assistance to users
Record incidents, requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system
Maintain hardware inventory, asset tags, software records, and spare equipment
Escalate unresolved or high-impact incidents to the appropriate technical team
Follow IT security, data-protection, software-licensing, and asset-management policies
Diploma, degree, or technical certification in IT, Computer Science, or related field
1-3 years of desktop, laptop, service-desk, or end-user support experience
Hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting Windows 10 and Windows 11
Good understanding of computer hardware, drivers, BIOS/UEFI, file systems, and disk partitioning
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and Outlook
Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN technologies
Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Entra ID, and endpoint-management tools
Experience using remote-support and ticket-management tools
Ability to diagnose technical problems methodically and communicate clearly with non-technical users
Relevant OEM certifications from Dell, HP, or Lenovo
Windows installation, imaging, and troubleshooting
Desktop and laptop hardware repair
Software installation and configuration
Network and peripheral troubleshooting
Data backup, recovery, and migration
Customer service and communication
Incident documentation and time management
Ability to prioritize multiple support requests
Ability to provide desk-side support and move IT equipment when required
