Job summary

Sharp Brains is hiring an IT Support Specialist (Onsite) to deliver high-quality end-user support and maintain office IT infrastructure in Medan. You will handle desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and network issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, ensuring minimal downtime.

You will manage asset records, assist in IT projects and relocations, and coordinate with Level 2 teams and vendors for escalations. Strong problem-solving and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in end-user support and IT infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile device support.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, routers, access points).
• Hands-on experience with IT asset management and inventory control.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely manner.
• Manage the complete device lifecycle, including provisioning, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Support office IT infrastructure such as network connectivity, AV systems, and workplace technologies.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records, conduct inventory audits, and ensure compliance with asset management policies.
• Collaborate with Level 2 support teams and coordinate with third-party vendors for escalations and maintenance.
• Assist in IT projects, office relocations, and technology deployments.
