Job summary

Kompas Gramedia is seeking an IT Support Specialist to install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and networks across the company. You will troubleshoot issues, provide timely technical support, and coordinate with the procurement team for equipment and budgets.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields and at least 1 year of experience in IT support, with strong communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, and other IT-related supplies.
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
• Providing technical support across the company.
• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
• Testing new technology.
• Adjusting the needs and selecting PC/laptop specifications with users according to the standard created by the team.
• Able to build a PC within the designated budget.
• Requesting budget approval to Project Manager and coordinate with Procurement Team.
• Performing IP Reserve configuration for streaming purposes and communicating with ISP for the implementation process.
