Job summary

PT. Jotun Indonesia seeks a Decorative Retail Consultant to strengthen the West Java market by promoting decorative products, supporting dealers, and expanding the customer base with professional service.

You will coordinate with Marketing and Technical teams, monitor collections with Finance, and ensure budgeted sales, gross margin, DSO targets, and customer satisfaction are met. The role covers West Java and reports to the Area Sales Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from any discipline.
• Experience minimum 3 years as sales in building materials, FMCG, General Trade or related field.
• Driven, persuasive, presentation and communication skills.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia writing and speaking.
• Own car and driving license A; willing to travel across West Java.

Responsibilities

• Map the market and expand the territory to increase market share.
• Achieve sales targets by maintaining existing customers and acquiring new ones.
• Promote Decorative products with Marketing and Technical teams to grow brand awareness.
• Monitor collections and coordinate with Finance to ensure on-time payments and favorable DSO.
• Provide high-quality product and sales services, coordinating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Jotun is expanding rapidly in Indonesia and seeking a dynamic professional to strengthen Decorative Retail department as the Decorative Retail Consultant - West Java.

The successful candidate will sell and promote decorative products to our loyal dealers and seek new potentials in the designated area by providing professional sales service, monitoring collection, coordinating with other departments, and responding quickly to meet customers’ request to ensure the budgeted sales, market shares, gross margin, DSO target, and excellent customers satisfaction are achieved.

This position will be covering West Java area and report directly to Area Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for market mapping and expansion in the territory by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors to increase Jotun’s market share.

• Achieve sales target by maintaining current customers and seek for new potential customers to ensure the budgeted sales is achieved and gross margin increased.

• Promote Decorative products by coordinating with the Marketing and Technical team to secure new customers and increase brand awareness in order to have more market share in the respective area.

• Monitor collection by following up collection and coordinating with Finance Department to ensure customer payment is received within the agreed term to achieve budgeted days outstanding (DSO) target.

• Provide high-quality product and professional sales services by coordinating with other departments to ensure customer’s satisfaction is achieved.

• Bachelor degree from any discipline.

• Experience minimum 3 years as sales in building materials, FMCG, General Trade or in the related field is essential.

• Has a driven personality, able to convince and persuade others.

• Presentation and communication skills are required.

• Proficient communication and writing skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.

• Has own car and driving license A.

• Willing to be located and work mobile all around West Java.
