Job summary

Elitez Pte Ltd in Indonesia seeks an entry-level Data Centre Operations Associate to manage and service large scale in-country data centre infrastructure. The role covers 24x7 monitoring, incident escalation, and adherence to ITIL processes.

Candidate needs a Diploma or ITE certificate in Computing/Electrical/Mechanical, with 1 year of relevant DC experience or fresh graduates with qualifying backgrounds. English and Bahasa proficiency are required, and shift rotation is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Computing/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• ITE Certificate or equivalent in Computing/Electrical/Mechanical.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in 24x7 DC or facility operations environment, or fresh graduate with relevant qualifications such as building services, mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Supports the organisation's data centre services through active 24x7 monitoring of the infrastructure
• Acts as Level 1 escalation point for all onsite operational incidents, respond & perform remote requests within SLA
• Documents and updates accurately all requests on the internal Web Portal ticketing system such as user requests, incidents, provisioning, etc
• Delivers ITIL compliance process conformance for incident, problem and change management
• Ensures effective implementations of safety, security and customer support policy and procedures
• Coordinates and provides support to contractors and vendors as well as inspecting completed work
• Plans and supports all preventive and reactive maintenance activities with little to no disruption to company's services
• Participates and supports internal and external audits for internal stakeholders and customers
• Generates accurate and regular reports when required

About you

Broad knowledge in DC facilities related systems such as PDUs, UPS, DC Rectifier, DRUPs, CRAUs, DX cooling, fire protections, etc

Meticulous team player with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Excellent verbal and written English & Bahasa

Open to rotating shifts and capable of adapting to different schedules

Prepared to be on 24x7 standby recall to provide extra manpower coverage when necessary
