DAMAC Digital is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the safe, reliable, and customer-focused operations of a data center site in Jakarta. This role drives 24x7 uptime across power, cooling, security, and maintenance, coordinating between cross-functional teams and vendors to meet customer SLAs and audit readiness.
You will oversee system monitoring, incident response, and KPI reviews while ensuring ISO and regulatory compliance in a high-stakes, multi-tenant environment.
The Operations Manager is accountable for the safe, reliable, efficient, and customer-focused operation of the data center site, ensuring 24x7 uptime, multi-tenant service delivery, audit readiness, statutory compliance, and adherence to customer SLAs. The role leads integrated operational performance across critical power, cooling, security, HSE, building fabric, digital monitoring systems, and maintenance execution using DCIM, CAFM/CMMS, BMS, EPMS, and BI dashboards to drive service excellence and continuous improvement.
Own overall site operations, service availability, customer experience, and compliance performance in a multi-tenant colocation environment.
Act as the site operations leader for coordination between electrical, mechanical, security, HSE, shift teams, vendors, and customer-facing functions.
Chair daily operations review, weekly risk review, monthly KPI review, customer service review, and major incident review.
Approve and govern SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, SOOs, change records, planned maintenance windows, handover readiness, and critical maintenance risk control.
Ensure CAFM/CMMS is fully operational for asset hierarchy, preventive maintenance, statutory maintenance, vendor tasks, inventory, warranty, calibration, and closure quality.
Drive integration of CAFM/CMMS with CAD/REVIT, DCIM, BI dashboards, and alarm workflows.
Oversee customer onboarding, fit-outs, remote hands coordination, incident communication, service reporting, and SLA compliance.
Own site OPEX, vendor governance, service contracts, utility reporting, and operational cost optimization without compromising resilience or compliance.
Lead workforce planning, training, performance management, succession planning, and cross-skilling of technicians, shift managers, and specialist managers.
Ensure physical security, HSE compliance, asset protection, audit closure, and client/regulator readiness.
24x7 operational accountability in a mission-critical, customer-facing environment.
Participation in incident response, escalation, audits, and emergency exercises.
Compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, local law, customer controls, and company standards.
Mandatory use of approved digital systems, including CAFM/CMMS, DCIM, BMS, EPMS, BI reporting, and controlled document repositories.
Mandatory adherence to approved SOP, MOP, EOP, PTW, LOTO, and change-management procedures.
8+ years in data center operations or equivalent critical environment, including leadership in customer-facing and vendor-heavy operations.
Strong knowledge of power systems, UPS, generators, HVAC and thermal systems, monitoring systems, physical security, and maintenance governance.
Experience with CMMS/CAFM, DCIM, change management, incident management, customer reporting, audits, and risk management.
Ability to lead in a 24x7 environment and manage high-pressure incident scenarios.
