Job summary

PT. Digital Hyperspace Indonesia is seeking an experienced data center operations engineer to support day-to-day mission critical facilities in our facility in Indonesia.

You will monitor MV/LV systems, oversee FM contractors, and assist with incident response and preventive maintenance. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, 4+ years in data center or critical facilities, and fluency in Bahasa Indonesia with working English/Chinese for technical reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in data center, critical facilities, or industrial plant operations.
• Working knowledge of MV/LV electrical systems, UPS and cooling infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Tier III / Uptime Institute standards is a plus.
• Comfortable managing third-party contractors and vendors.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; working proficiency in English and Chinese for technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of a live colocation data center.
• Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure: MV switchgear, UPS, generators, cooling.
• Oversee FM contractor and security performance; review shift checklists.
• Assist with incident response and root-cause investigations.
• Support NCR tracking and defect closeout.
• Assist with PPM scheduling and tracking.
• Prepare tenant-facing reporting: uptime, PUE, incident logs.
• Coordinate with PLN and other utility/vendor contacts on operations.
• Maintain asset registers, warranty tracking, and maintenance logs.
• Available for on-call / emergency response.

Job description

Support day-to-day operations of a live colocation data center, covering electrical/mechanical systems, vendor oversight, technical documentation, customer communication

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure: MV switchgear, UPS, generators, cooling systems, fire suppression
• Oversee daily performance of FM contractor and security - review shift checklists, flag missed items or SLA breaches
• Support incident response and root-cause investigation; assist with NCR tracking and defect closeout
• Assist with PPM (planned preventive maintenance) scheduling and completion tracking
• Support tenant-facing reporting (uptime, PUE, incident logs) for existing tenants
• Coordinate with PLN and other utility/vendor contacts on operational matters
• Maintain accurate technical records - asset register, warranty tracking, maintenance logs
• Available for on-call / emergency response as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline
• 4+ years experience in data center, critical facilities, or industrial plant operations
• Working knowledge of MV/LV electrical systems, UPS, and cooling infrastructure
• Familiarity with Tier III / Uptime Institute standards a plus
• Comfortable managing third-party contractors and vendors
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; working proficiency in English and Chinese (technical reports/documentation)
• Willing to be based in Cikarang; flexible for shift/on-call coverage
