Job summary

Michael Page is representing a leading Data Center operator in Indonesia seeking a seasoned Head of Data Center Operations. You will manage daily data center operations to maximize uptime, monitor critical infrastructure, and ensure compliance with policies and industry standards.

Leading a team of engineers and technicians, you will drive capacity planning and performance optimization. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in EE/ME/Telecom, 10+ years in mission-critical 24x7

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 10+ years experience in managing mission-critical environments with 24x7 operations.
• Familiarity with data center design principles, including redundancy and scalability.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily data center operations to ensure maximum uptime and service availability.
• Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure, including servers, storage, network equipment, power systems, cooling systems, and physical security controls.
• Ensure all operational activities comply with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Ensure timely response and resolution of incidents, outages, and operational issues.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the Operation team consists of Engineers and Technicians.
• Plan and manage data center capacity, including power, cooling, rack space, and infrastructure growth.
• Monitor performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities.
• Manage relationships with data center vendors, service providers, and contractors.
• Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and management presentations.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 10 years experience in managing mission-critical environments with 24x7 operations
• Strong understanding of data center facilities and MEP infrastructures
• Good customer experience and leadership skills
• Familiarity with data center design principles, including redundancy and scalability
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices such as Uptime
• Fluency in English
