Job summary

Tap Growth ai in Jakarta is seeking a Sales Development Specialist for our Data Center Project to drive growth and build a strong project pipeline locally.

You will identify opportunities, coordinate with consultants, QS, and partners, and engage owners, developers, and operators. The role requires frequent client site visits and the ability to work with PPE in diverse commercial building environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred).
• 3-7 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of Indonesia data centre market.
• Develop sales strategies in collaboration with sales manager.
• Mentor and train sales engineers.

Responsibilities

• Handle sales development of Data Centre projects in Indonesia in line with company strategies and policies.
• Identify, track, and actively follow up data centre project pipeline from early design stage to execution.
• Work closely with consultants and QS to secure Grundfos specification in tender documents.
• Follow up and engage contractors during tendering and execution stages to improve conversion rate.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with data centre owners, developers, and operators.
• Drive focus on Data Centre segment and selected key accounts to achieve sales targets.
• Implement of sales policies, procedures and systems to ensure compliance with corporate policies.
• Collaborate with CBS partners & KAMs when required to support project execution and follow-up.
• Maintain good relationship with dealers, building project's owner, engineering contractor, design institute, consulting firms, and authorities.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Data Centre segment.
• Support preparation of segment-based plans, forecasts, and budgets.
• Participate in market research and competitor tracking for Data Centre segment.
• Utilise Sales Excellence tools ie; SAP CRM to maintain customer interactions, opportunities and quotations.
• Ensure all reporting is accurate and presented within an acceptable time frame e.g. expenses.
