Job summary

The Data Center Associate at Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy works across the state to advance data center policy and environmental goals. You will support priorities with the Water Program Director and engage with coalitions, external partners, and the legislature.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in policy/research, strong writing, and Excel skills, plus willingness to travel and learn. Hybrid work with in-office days supports collaboration.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of research, policy, or related work, or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Support data center work with the Water Program Director and team.
• Attend coalition and external meetings on behalf of MCEA.
• Work at the legislature to support goals.
• Research and write content on data centers for internal/external use.
• Coordinate multiple projects and track milestones.
• Represent MCEA in communities and coalitions.
