Job summary

Equinix in Jakarta is seeking a Customer Operations Engineer IV to lead shifts, mentor junior engineers, and drive data center projects. The role centers on supporting major customers and contributing to the growth of the JK1 campus.

This is a newly created position, with opportunities to scale across the region as Equinix expands.

Responsibilities

Queue management and reporting: review and process moderately difficult work orders and coordinate with onsite teams.
Projects and training: coordinate vendors for data center projects and QA on new installations.
Installations: handle moderately complex rack and stack tickets and assist with installs.
Cross-Connects: support cross-connect installs, terminations, testing and troubleshooting.
De-installation: monitor de-install tickets and ensure proper de-installation with customer permissions.
Customer and stakeholder management: ensure customer satisfaction, provide access control, act as escalation point, monitor stock and coordinate material needs.
