Job summary

OttoDigital Group is seeking an on-site MEP/Electrical Engineer in West Java, Indonesia. You will manage the execution of MEP and electrical works on site, coordinating with internal project teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure milestones are met.

You will review MEP drawings, shop drawings, technical specs, method statements, and material approvals prior to installation; ensure compliance with national and international data center standards; enforce HSE procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of building MEP systems with focused expertise in Data Center electrical systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, experience with BIM software is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of basic project management principles and familiarity with local and international installation regulations/standards.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication.
• High motivation, strong strategic mindset, and a deep interest in technical aspects.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and deliver results under tight project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of MEP and electrical works on site, coordinating closely with internal project teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure milestone delivery aligned with the project master schedule.
• Review MEP engineering drawings, shop drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and material approval requests prior to site installation.
• Ensure that all MEP installations and workmanship meet both national and international data center engineering standards.
• Enforce strict implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment (K3/HSE) procedures across all site operational activities.
• Monitor daily and weekly site progress, evaluate contractor performance, and provide periodic progress reports to the Project & Planning Manager.
• Supervise and witness the full cycle of MEP system testing, pre-commissioning, and integrated testing & commissioning
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve on-site engineering challenges and technical discrepancies efficiently.
