Job summary

PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) seeks an IT Infrastructure Specialist to install, configure, and maintain data center hardware and network devices, ensuring systems run smoothly. The role covers monitoring, capacity planning, and disaster recovery to support continuous operations.

Required are hands-on server, storage, and network experience, plus familiarity with VMware/OpenShift and monitoring tools, with strong English communication and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with server hardware, storage, SAN storage and network devices.
• Experience with disaster recovery, backup restore, archiving tape.
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware) and OpenShift.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CDCP, VCP are a plus.
• Good communication in English and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware such as servers, storage, SAN switches, and network devices.
• Ensure hardware and software function properly and troubleshoot disruptions.
• Monitor data center infrastructure performance and health.
• Use monitoring tools to track availability, server performance, and network traffic.
• Analyze system performance and plan capacity for future growth.
• Ensure power, cooling, and network bandwidth are sufficient to handle increasing data loads.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Ensure backup systems are functioning properly and tested regularly.
• Manage lifecycle of device assets from receipt to disposal.

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science/Other Related Fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in related field.
• Experience with server hardware, storage, sanstorage and network devices and ability to manage operating systems (Linux, Windows Server, etc.).
• Experience implementing disaster recovery, backup restore, archiving tape.
• Experience with monitoring tools (such as Zabbix, Grafana, Infosigt, and APM).
• Understanding of virtualization and containerization technologies (such as VMware and Opershift).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Relevant certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP), VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or other relevant certifications are a plus.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with technical and non-technical teams, and English language skills.
