Job summary

Cermati is seeking an experienced Operations Excellence professional to analyze and improve business processes within the financial industry. You will document processes, set targets, calculate incentives, and define reporting metrics and SLAs.

You will collaborate with the operations manager and other stakeholders, guide junior team members, and ensure timely, accurate deliverables while maintaining quality standards. This role requires attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in Operation Excellence or Business Operations Improvements in financial industry
• Detail-oriented with critical thinking and self-driven to get things done
• Strong analytical skills with ability to identify root causes
• Ability to multitask and deliver initiatives in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Analyze ongoing and upcoming business processes and ensure proper documentation
• Identify and develop core operational processes (target settings, incentive calculation, reporting, metrics & SLA)
• Collaborate with operations manager and stakeholders to drive and monitor new improvement initiatives
• Provide direction and guidance to junior team members
• Ensure routine business processes are completed on time and accurately; serve as backup PIC
• Ensure deliverables from junior team members meet standards and accuracy

Job description

• Analyze ongoing and upcoming business process to ensure proper documentation are available
• Identify, develop, evaluate organization’s core operational processes (target setting, incentive calculation, reporting, setting metrics & SLA)
• Work closely with operations manager or stakeholders to drive and monitor new improvement initiatives
• Provide direction and guidance to junior team members
• Ensure routine business processes are completed on time and accurate (serves as backup PIC in case needed)
• Ensure deliverables from junior team members are up to standard and free of error

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years working experience in Operation Excellence or Business Operations Improvements, especially in the financial industry
• Attention to details, critical mindset and self driven to get things done
• Strong analytical skills, ability to identify root causes and creativity to solve problems
• Ability to multitask and deliver initiatives in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skill
• Nice to have:
  • Working experience in managing large scale operation projects in fintech / same industry
  • Working experience as a business consultant
