Job summary

PT SML Indonesia Private is seeking a Customer Service Officer to manage customer orders, inquiries, and order processing in Semarang. You will ensure accurate quantities, timely payments, and seamless communication with customers and internal teams.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Business, experience in customer service or order processing, and familiarity with AX ERP. Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required, with strong Microsoft Office skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on customer orders to ensure accuracy in quantity, quality, specifications, and delivery timelines.
• Guide and assist customers in submitting clear and complete orders.
• Process orders in AX system, notify Product Material Control, and ensure timely handling.
• Respond to customer inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
• Monitor payments and coordinate with Accounting for order release approval.
• Handle outstanding payments in line with company procedures.
• Prepare documents and inform the warehouse to release goods upon payment confirmation.
• Coordinate with the sales team and other departments to fulfill customer requirements.
• Handle customer complaints in accordance with company procedures and service standards.
