Job summary

PT Dgl Expedisi Indonesia is seeking a logistics coordinator to handle daily branch operations, understand customer requirements, and secure the best possible market price to ensure timely shipments.

You will update the system on new bookings, coordinate with shippers, brokers, airports, and 3PLs, prepare HAWB/MAWB, manage documentation, and monitor shipments to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day branch operations and understand customer requirements to deliver the best market price and timely execution of shipments.
• Update the system when new bookings are received and coordinate with shippers to arrange goods by air freight.
• Coordinate with brokerage to process documentation and ensure customs paperwork is completed on time.
• Coordinate with airports/warehouses for collection and delivery.
• Coordinate with buying offices and 3PL providers to arrange shipments.
• Prepare flight documentation (HAWB/MAWB) and provide pre-alerts to networks.
• Monitor shipments and update network/destination agents with flight planning.
• Support SOP implementation and propose ideas to improve staff morale and company benefits.

Job description

Responsible for handling day to day operations at the Branch, from understanding the requirements of the customers, providing the best possible price in the market, ensure hassle free and timely execution of shipments.

Update the system when a new booking is received and coordinate with shippers to arrange the goods by air freight (for regular, sales generated, new shipments).

Coordinate with brokerage department to process the documentation work and get the custom documentation done on time.

Coordinate with Airport / warehouse for the collection / delivery of the goods on time.

Coordinate with buying offices, 3PL providers to arrange the shipments.

Upon receiving the customer requirements, start correspondence with the Airlines directly in order to get the best possible price for the customer.

Support the Airport Export team to secure space with carriers/onwards as and when necessary.

Update both shippers & destination agents with flight planning.

Provide complete job file to documentation to process the pre/post documentation based on the flight departure.

Communication with Network, CS, Sales

Request green light shipment from network

Monitoring shipment.

Received SI from customer and send to network to have green light and selling rates

Creating HAWB, MAWB and consolidation manifest for sending to airlines

Sending Pre-alert to NETWORK

Provide HAWB, MAWB to shipper

SOP implementation

Propose of new ideas, suggestions for helping to improve the staff moral and the Company benefit, progress.
