Pengiklan Anonim is seeking a Senior Crewing Manager to lead end-to-end crew management for the fleet, ensuring regulatory compliance with STCW, MLC, and flag-state rules. The role oversees certifications, visas, travel, training records, and budget control.
You will design rotation plans, manage welfare and crises, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with marine operations, technical, and QHSE teams to guarantee safe, fully manned vessels at all times.
Lead and manage the timeline and end-to-end crewing recruitment process for the company's fleet, tug & barge, and floating crane with qualified and competent crew in accordance with international maritime regulations and company requirements, including STCW (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping), MLC (Maritime Labour Convention), and flag-state rules.
Manage crew certification, licenses, medical examinations, visas, travel arrangements, and training records to ensure full regulatory compliance.
Design a strategies crew rotation plans to optimize the continuity of seafarers' availability, cost efficiency, and operational readiness.
Ensure all crew documentation, contracts, payroll data, and personnel records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
Manage crew welfare and crisis management matters: disciplinary action, emergency responses for medical issues or onboard accidents, grievances, and ensure the crew welfare is effective and competitive with existing market to build positive working environment onboard and ashore.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to crew utilization, competency, and training compliance to build a highly competent workforce and increase crew retention and engagement.
Work closely with marine operations, technical division, and DPA / QHSE teams to ensure vessels are safely and fully manned at all times.
Manage crewing budget & cost control: establish and monitor crewing budgets, payroll administration, travel logistics, and workforce allocation to optimize operational efficiency.
Develop and improve crewing policies, procedures, and standard operating practices to align with industry best practices and organizational objectives.
Support internal and external audits, inspections, and client assessments related to crewing management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with maritime authorities, training institutions, manning agencies, and other external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Minimum 15 years of maritime industry experience, with several years in senior management roles as Crewing Manager in shipping company (is a must).
In-depth understanding international maritime conventions and labor laws.
Good communication and presentation skills
Proficient in English both verbal and written
