Job summary

PT TEMAS Tbk in Jakarta is seeking a Crewing Rotation Officer to organize and manage crew rotation schedules according to vessel needs and contract durations. This role coordinates crew changes across vessels, agents, and stakeholders while maintaining accurate crew documentation.

You will monitor onboarding and offboarding, ensure documents such as Seaman's Book, BST, SIO, passport and maritime certificates are valid, and prepare regular reports on crew status and replacement requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 education, preferably in Maritime Transportation, Nautical Science, Human Resources Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in crewing/crew management, particularly in shipping companies or container vessel operations
• Understanding of crew rotation processes, crew changes, embarkation, and disembarkation
• Strong administrative and coordination capabilities

The Crewing Rotation Officer is responsible for organizing and managing crew rotation schedules according to operational vessel requirements and crew contract periods, coordinating crew changes across vessels, agents, and relevant stakeholders, and maintaining crew documentation and administrative records.

Key responsibilities

Organize and arrange crew rotation schedules according to operational vessel needs and crew contract duration

Monitor onboard and offboard crew and ensure crew change/rotation processes are executed on time

Coordinate with vessels, agents, and relevant parties in implementing crew changes and rotations

Ensure availability and validity of crew documents, including Seaman's Book, BST, SIO, Passport, and other maritime certificates

Monitor expiry dates of crew documents and certificates and follow up on renewals as needed

Update databases and administration related to crew rotation and crew movement

Prepare periodic reports on crew status, rotation schedules, and crew replacement requirements

Handle administrative needs and other coordination related to crewing operations

About you

Minimum D3/S1 education, preferably in Maritime Transportation, Nautical Science, Human Resources Management, or related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in crewing/crew management, particularly in shipping companies or container vessel operations

Understanding of crew rotation processes, crew changes, embarkation, and disembarkation

Understanding of maritime documents, certification, and basic shipping regulations
