Job summary

Find Perfumery is seeking a dedicated Perfume Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and build fragrance knowledge within a retail setting in Tangerang, Indonesia. You will help customers choose perfumes, explain notes and variants, and meet sales goals while keeping displays attractive and stock accurate.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and a passion for fragrance. Shift work, holidays, and teamwork are expected in this frontline position.

Qualifications

• Minimum education SMA/SMK or equivalent.
• Good communication skills and confidence.
• Interest or passion for the fragrance world.
• Honest, detail-oriented, disciplined, and responsible.
• Able to work in a team or independently; willing to work shifts and weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and listen to fragrance preferences to recommend suitable perfumes.
• Explain fragrance notes and perfume types (EDP/EDT/EDC) and the story of each variant.
• Strive to achieve daily/monthly sales targets through consultative selling.
• Keep store area neat, clean, and well-displayed.
• Conduct stock checks, record receipts and issuances, and report low stock.
• Operate the POS system and process payments accurately.
• Maintain product security to prevent loss or damage.

Job description

This is a Perfume Sales Associate role focused on delivering excellent customer service, product expertise, and achieving sales targets in a retail store environment.

Key responsibilities

Greet customers in a friendly manner, listen to their fragrance preferences, and provide suitable perfume product recommendations

Understand fragrance notes (top, middle, base notes), types of perfume (EDP, EDT, EDC), and the story/advantages of each perfume variant sold

Achieve daily/monthly sales targets through effective product consultation

Ensure neatness, cleanliness, and attractive product display in the store area

Conduct daily stock checks, record incoming/outgoing items, and report when stock is running low

Operate the cash register/POS (Point of Sale) system and process customer payment transactions accurately

Maintain product security to prevent loss or damage

About you

Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent

Good communication skills and confidence

Interest or passion for the fragrance/perfume world

Honest, detail-oriented, disciplined, and responsible

Able to work both as part of a team and independently

Willing to work in shifts and on public holidays/weekends

Experience in retail/perfume/cosmetics is a plus
