Job summary

Libera Consultants Ltd is conducting a search for an established international oilfield services company in Indonesia for an experienced Country Director to lead the Indonesian operations, commercial growth and market expansion.

This is the most senior leadership role within the Indonesia business, covering Wireline and Coiled Tubing, with strong operational leadership and a commercial mandate to win projects and expand services.

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ experience within Oil & Gas, ideally within the oilfield services sector
• Approximately 5–7+ years of leadership/management experience
• Strong operational background, preferably within Production or Evaluation services
• Experience across Wireline, Coiled Tubing, drilling, cementing, testing, production services or other OFS segments
• Proven experience managing and developing teams within an operational environment
• Strong commercial and business-development mindset, with experience developing client relationships and winning projects
• Strong knowledge of the Indonesian Oil & Gas market and operator landscape
• Ability to combine strategic leadership with a visible, hands‑on operational approach

Responsibilities

• Develop senior-level relationships with operators and key decision-makers across the Indonesian Oil & Gas market
• Identify, pursue and secure new projects and business opportunities

• Provide hands‑on leadership, coaching and development while strengthening accountability across the organisation
• Balance operational performance, people leadership and commercial priorities
• Act as the senior company representative in Indonesia, strengthening market presence, client relationships and brand visibility

Role Overview:

This is the most senior leadership position within the Indonesia business, with responsibility for an organisation across Wireline and Coiled Tubing operations.
