Job summary

Raja Bali Restaurant Nusa Dua in Bali is seeking an enthusiastic Cook to join our team and prepare menu items according to our recipes and standards.

You will work as part of a busy kitchen, maintain cleanliness, manage mise en place, and ensure quality and presentation, with shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Experience in Indonesian or Balinese cuisine is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Senior High School or equivalent
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Disciplined, honest, responsible, and proactive
• Well-groomed with high personal hygiene standards

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards
• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
• Carry out mise en place, including cutting, portioning, marinating, and preparing ingredients before service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations at all times
• Store food properly and apply the FIFO (First In, First Out) system
• Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures
