Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Indonesia is seeking a project-oriented professional to plan, monitor and direct resources to ensure the Construction program is completed within the contract period. The role includes supervising subcontractors and employees to ensure compliance with obligations and the company’s management plan.

You will advise on subcontractor and supplier selection to meet cost and quality, manage terms for prime contracts and subcontracts, support cost control with the commercial team,

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and direct resources to meet the Construction program within the contract period.
• Supervise subcontractors and employees to ensure compliance with obligations and the company’s management plan.
• Advise on subcontractor and supplier selection to meet project cost and quality.
• Coordinate design deliverables and interfaces across sections and suppliers to meet project requirements.
• Review HSE and safety at the site to ensure a safe work environment.

Job description

• To plan, monitor, assess resources, direct and act to ensure adherence to the Construction program in order to complete the project within the contract period.
• To determine and monitor work methods and performance of subcontractors and employees in order to ensure compliance with their obligations and the company’s management plan.
• To advise and provide input into negotiation and selection of subcontractors and suppliers in order to meet project cost and quality.
• To manage terms and deliverables for both the prime contract and subcontracts in order to protect the Company’s risks and obligations.
• To provide input into cost control in conjunction with the commercial department and Project Director/Manager in order to manage project cost and risk.
