Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Indonesia seeks a project controls and site management professional to organize and manage all resources and field activities for a Data Centre contract, ensuring safe, on-time, and cost-effective completion while meeting quality standards.

You will plan resources, prepare cost estimates, obtain approvals, review cost reports, supervise frontline staff, liaise with authorities and customers, negotiate contracts, approve purchases, foster team relations, ensure bylaws

Responsibilities

• Responsible for organizing & managing all resources and field activities of Data Centre to achieve an efficient and economic completion of the contract, within the agreed time and cost, whilst paying due regard to safety and meeting Product Quality requirements.
• Plan resources, prepare Cost estimates, discuss and agree upon during Kick-off meeting.
• Obtain approval for cost estimates & Resources from appropriate level of management.
• Review & approve and report Job cost report, MIS & Management performance reports to appropriate level of management.
• Identification of Front-line Supervisors.
• Liaison with customer, statutory and regulatory authorities.
• Negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers to ensure the cost-effective provision of services to the site.
• Approval of purchase requisition, work orders and purchase orders at site or obtaining approval from higher ups as per organization guidelines.
• Develop effective working relationships with all employees and develop them to ensure the maintenance of harmonious employee relations within the site.
• Ensure that the project site is operating as per the bylaws of the local government and authorities.
• Implementing and establishing the QMS based on ISO and to perform any other related duties as Management may require from time to time
