Job summary

PT KEPODANG MAKMUR SEJAHTERA in Batam is seeking a Project Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to develop cost estimates, prepare BOQs, and support tender submissions for construction projects.

You will review drawings, assess material and labor requirements, and coordinate with engineering and procurement to ensure accurate costing. Proficiency in Excel and strong numerical skills are essential; experience in oil & gas or shipyard projects is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in civil-related field.
• Experience as Project Estimator or Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Ability to read drawings and understand specs.
• Familiar with BOQ, cost breakdowns, and tender pricing.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Calculate material, manpower, equipment, and other costs.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost breakdowns.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers/subcontractors.
• Support commercial proposals and tender submissions.
