Job summary

Mercure Jakarta Gatot Subroto is seeking a friendly Concierge (Daily Worker) to join our Front Office team. You will provide personalized assistance to guests, share local recommendations, and help with transportation and reservations to ensure a memorable stay.

Minimum high school diploma with excellent communication and English skills is required. The role offers daily worker shifts, with opportunities to assist VIP guests and collaborate with other departments in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Concierge, Front Office, Guest Relations, or Hospitality is preferred.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, transportation, and tourist destinations is an advantage.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Flexible and reliable to work on Daily Worker basis.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide information and recommendations regarding hotel facilities, restaurants, attractions, and local activities.
• Assist guests with transportation arrangements, including taxis and airport transfers.
• Arrange restaurant reservations, tours, tickets, and other guest activities.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Bell Service to fulfill guest requests.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain updated knowledge of hotel facilities, local attractions, and events.
