Job summary

Urban Compost Bali is seeking a motivated Business Development & Sales Officer to expand our compost market across Bali. You will develop prospective buyers, conduct field visits, and secure repeat orders from farmer groups, retailers, and distributors under direction of the Director.

The role requires strong communication, database management, and willingness to travel for field work. Fresh graduates with 0–2 years' experience are welcome; knowledge of agriculture or compost is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or candidates with 0-2 years of work experience.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to conduct field visits.
• Meticulous in managing databases and consistent in following up.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to map needs, pricing, competitors, demand volume for target buyers.
• Prospect for clients, conduct field visits, build relationships with decision-makers.
• Record feedback and follow up on trial results to secure purchases.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate within approved limits, secure retail and bulk orders.
• Open sales channels with shops and distributors, discuss margins and purchasing schemes.
• Coordinate orders with stock and delivery; report opportunities to the Director.
