Job summary

MidPlaza Holding seeks a Compliance Specialist to perform risk assessments and support the development of compliance plans and systems. You will assist with strategic planning to achieve targets, prepare top-management reports, and ensure adherence to laws and internal policies.

This role requires strong communication skills, a Law degree, and willingness to be based in Bali. Fluency in English and Bahasa is essential, with the ability to work in a multicultural setting and coordinate with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• Experience in a law firm is an advantage.
• Maximum age of 28; willing to be based in Bali.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa (written and spoken).
• Basic knowledge of corporate law and government regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments across functional areas and maintain operational risk.
• Assist with development of systems to monitor and improve risk.
• Assist with compliance plans and programs.
• Assist with strategic planning to meet targets.
• Prepare Compliance Program Reports for top management.
• Identify shortfalls in policy and processes and implement changes.
• Maintain procedures to update staff on modifications to laws and regs.
• Coordinate and conduct Compliance Program and projects.
• Prepare Compliance Working Papers and Reports timely.
• Escalate major findings to Compliance Leader.
• Monitor deficiencies to provide effective solutions.
• Informs executives and peers on relevant information timely.
• Submit reports timely and meet deadlines.
• Achieve/exceed goals in KPI, Budget, and team goals.
• Ensure high quality & reliable Compliance Working Papers & Reports.
• Leverage technology to generate reports and support decision-making.
• Assist Leader to engage with all organization members for feedback.
• Experience in a law firm is an advantage.

Job description

• Perform risk assessments across functional areas and maintain operational risk.

• Participate and assist with development of systems to facilitate risk monitoring and risk improvement by ensuring that the risk identification process is aligned with the Groups targets and objectives.

• Assist with the development and implementation of compliance plans and programs.

• Assist with the development of the strategic plans to achieve agreed targets and effective planning.

• Prepare Compliance Program Reports for top-level management based on internal reviews.

• Identify the shortfalls in and/or potential improvements to policy and process; assess effectiveness of current policies and processes and recommend and implement required changes.

• Maintain internal company procedures to ensure that our staff is kept up to date regarding any modifications to existing compliance PP, SOP, tax regulation, applicable laws, government regulation and industry standard.

• Coordinate and conduct Compliance Program and project as assigned.

• Prepare Compliance Working Paper and Reports on timely manner.

• Escalate major finding or issue to Compliance Leader.

• Monitor, review and analyze deficiencies and irregularities to provide effective solutions.

• Informs and/or updates the executives, the peers and the subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.

• Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines.

• Achieves and exceeds goals in KPI, Budget, Team’s Goals , etc.

• Ensure high quality & reliable Compliance Working Paper & Reports :

• All information is accurate, valid and based on actual condition
• Working paper is informative, neat, free of administrative error, clean.
• Document the company’s compliance activities to provide proof the company complies with PP, SOP, applicable laws, government regulation and industry standard.

• Leverages technology and effectively uses information systems and tools to generate compliance reports and provide management with analytical support to drive decision-making.

• Assist Compliance Leader to interact, co-operate, and maintain relationships with all members of the organization for feedback and to obtain client / customer satisfaction.

* Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Law.

* Experience in a law firm is an advantage.
