Job summary

Shopee Indonesia seeks an experienced Compliance and Regulatory Affairs professional to monitor, assess, and respond to evolving regulatory developments affecting operations and strategic initiatives.

You will lead cross-functional programs with Legal, Public Affairs, Risk, Operations, Product, and Finance; translate complex requirements into actionable guidance; and prepare executive briefs, position papers, and regulatory updates for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Business, Economics, Finance, Public Policy, International Relations, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, internal audit, government relations, or consulting.
• Experience navigating multi-entity structures with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of Indonesia's regulatory landscape in digital, technology, e-commerce, financial, or consumer sectors.
• Strong skills in developing regulatory trackers, SOPs, and reporting tools.

• Solid technical proficiency in developing regulatory trackers, compliance frameworks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and compliance reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect business goals with regulatory obligations.
