Job summary

MidPlaza Holding in Bali seeks a Compliance Specialist to perform risk assessments across functional areas, maintaining operational risk and aligning the risk identification process with Group targets. You will assist with developing compliance plans and programs, and prepare reports for top management based on internal reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law is required.
• Maximum age 28; based in Bali.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments across functional areas and maintain operational risk.
• Assist with development of systems to facilitate risk monitoring and improvement by aligning risk identification with Group targets and objectives.
• Assist with development and implementation of compliance plans and programs.
• Prepare Compliance Program Reports for top-level management based on internal reviews.
• Identify shortfalls in and/or potential improvements to policy and process; assess effectiveness and implement changes.
• Maintain internal procedures to keep staff updated on modifications to compliance PP, SOP, tax regulation, laws, government regulation and industry standards.
• Coordinate and conduct Compliance Program and projects as assigned.
• Prepare Compliance Working Paper and Reports timely.
• Escalate major findings to Compliance Leader.
• Monitor deficiencies and irregularities to provide effective solutions.
• Inform executives, peers, and subordinates on relevant information timely.
• Submit reports on time, meeting deadlines.
• Aim to achieve KPI, budget, and team goals.

• Participate and assist with development of systems to facilitate risk monitoring and risk improvement by ensuring that the risk identification process is aligned with the Groups targets and objectives.
• Assist with the development and implementation of compliance plans and programs.
• Assist with the development of the strategic plans to achieve agreed targets and effective planning.
• Prepare Compliance Program Reports for top-level management based on internal reviews.
• Identify the shortfalls in and/or potential improvements to policy and process; assess effectiveness of current policies and processes and recommend and implement required changes.
• Maintain internal company procedures to ensure that our staff is kept up to date regarding any modifications to existing compliance PP, SOP, tax regulation, applicable laws, government regulation and industry standard.
• Coordinate and conduct Compliance Program and project as assigned.
• Prepare Compliance Working Paper and Reports on timely manner.
• Escalate major finding or issue to Compliance Leader.
• Monitor, review and analyze deficiencies and irregularities to provide effective solutions.
• Informs and/or updates the executives, the peers and the subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.
• Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines.
• Achieves and exceeds goals in KPI, Budget, Team’s Goals , etc.
• Ensure high quality & reliable Compliance Working Paper & Reports :
• All information is accurate, valid and based on actual condition
• Working paper is informative, neat, free of administrative error, clean.
• Document the company’s compliance activities to provide proof the company complies with PP, SOP, applicable laws, government regulation and industry standard.
• Leverages technology and effectively uses information systems and tools to generate compliance reports and provide management with analytical support to drive decision-making.
• Assist Compliance Leader to interact, co-operate, and maintain relationships with all members of the organization for feedback and to obtain client / customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Law.
• Experience in a law firm is an advantage.
• Maximum age of 28; willing to be based in Bali.
