Job summary

3111 UOB Indonesia is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Operation Head to lead the bank’s C&B programs and ensure compliant, efficient operations.

You will oversee salary administration, incentives, and benefits while managing a team and collaborating with Finance, HR, and other stakeholders in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 8–10 years in compensation and benefits, with 3–5 years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of compensation principles and benefits administration.
• In-depth knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and tax regulations.
• Experience with HRIS (Workday) and advanced Excel.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage administration of employee benefits, including health, DPLK, BPJS and other perquisites.
• Develop and maintain compensation and benefits policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Lead and mentor a team of C&B professionals, fostering high performance.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Rewards, and other stakeholders for integrated C&B initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal governance.
• Manage vendor relationships for benefits administration and payroll services.
• Utilize HRIS and reports to analyze data and identify trends.
• Prepare and present C&B performance and compliance reports to senior management.

Job Summary

The Compensation & Benefit Operation Head at United Overseas Bank Ltd. is responsible for leading and managing the operational aspects of all compensation and benefits programs, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role is crucial in supporting the bank's talent strategy through effective and competitive rewards.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end operational execution of all compensation programs, including salary administration, incentive plans, bonuses, and benefit programs.
• Manage the administration of all employee benefits, including health, DPLK, BPJS and other perquisites, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust compensation and benefits operational policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Lead and mentor a team of compensation and benefits professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Finance, Rewards and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and communication of C&B initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, tax regulations, and internal governance frameworks pertaining to compensation and benefits.
• Manage vendor relationships for benefits administration, payroll services, and other C&B-related platforms.
• Utilize HRIS and other relevant systems to optimize C&B processes, generate reports, and analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Prepare and present reports on C&B operational performance, budget utilization, and compliance to senior management.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or operational management role within a large organization, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of compensation principles, job evaluation methodologies, and benefits administration practices.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in Indonesia
• Demonstrated experience with HRIS systems especially Workday and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
