Job summary

Dewa Cafe in Indonesia is seeking a passionate Commis – Hot & Cold Kitchen to join our team. You will assist in preparing and cooking dishes according to our standards, prep ingredients, and support daily kitchen operations.

The role requires at least a high school diploma in Culinary Arts or Hospitality, one year kitchen experience, and basic English. You will work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays, in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow recipes, SOPs, and established food presentation standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Demonstrates discipline, responsibility, and strong teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and continuously develop culinary skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic English communication skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking dishes according to company standards.
• Prepare ingredients and raw materials for daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, portion sizes, and presentation.
• Keep the work area, kitchen equipment, and kitchen facilities clean at all times.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management and report stock shortages or ingredient requirements to the supervisor.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor based on operational needs.
