Job summary

Deli by Kita is hiring a Commis to support kitchen operations at our Uluwatu location in Bali. The role involves assisting with ingredient prep, mise en place, and following recipes to ensure consistent taste and portion sizes.

You will join a busy kitchen, maintain cleanliness, and help uphold food safety standards under supervision. Willingness to learn and collaborate with senior chefs is essential.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork, discipline, and willingness to learn.
• Willing to be placed in Uluwatu, Bali.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing ingredients (washing, cutting, slicing, portioning) and mise en place.
• Cook and plate menu items under supervision, following recipes and standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion size.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, workstations, and equipment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and FIFO procedures.
• Support stock control and help minimize food waste.
• Work closely with the kitchen team and follow instructions from senior chefs.
