Job summary

PT INDOCALL MITRA SERVICE is seeking an experienced Collection Operations Supervisor/Manager in Indonesia to lead TLs and frontline teams, drive performance, and implement scalable best practices. The role emphasizes integrity, high execution, and strong reporting to senior leadership.

The candidate will manage performance in a fast-paced collection operation, develop top performers, and ensure clear communication in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Responsibilities

• Drive team performance by managing TLs and frontline collection teams to meet targets and KPIs.
• Identify and develop high-performing employees and TLs while managing underperformers.
• Replicate best practices into SOPs, training materials, and scalable management methods.
• Improve team productivity through competitions, data analysis, coaching, and improvement initiatives.
• Identify issues related to performance, people, and processes; diagnose root causes and implement solutions.
• Regularly report team performance, staffing, and issues to Indonesia Operations Head and senior management in China.

Collection Operations Supervisor/Manager– Indonesia

Job Responsibilities

1. Drive Team Performance: Manage Collection Team Leaders (TLs) and frontline collection teams to achieve business targets and key KPIs.

2. Performance-Based Talent Management: Identify and develop high-performing employees and TLs while continuously managing out and replacing low performers. No room for employees who simply go through the motions.

3. Replicate Best Practices: Identify successful collection approaches used by high-performing employees and teams, and convert them into SOPs, training materials, and scalable management practices.

4. Improve Team Productivity: Drive team performance through team competitions, data analysis, coaching, performance improvement initiatives, and strong execution.

5. Problem Identification & Improvement: Proactively identify issues related to performance, people, and operational processes, analyze root causes, and drive effective solutions.

6. Business Reporting: Regularly report team performance, staffing, key issues, and improvement plans to the Indonesia Operations Head and senior management in China.

Requirements

1. Mandatory: Proven collection operations management experience with one of Indonesia’s Top 5 collection companies, with a demonstrated track record of leading teams to strong results, achieving top rankings in vendor performance competitions, or significantly improving team performance.

2. Strong data sensitivity and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify performance gaps, diagnose root causes, and drive solutions.

3. Hardworking, responsible, resilient, and highly execution-oriented. We are looking for someone who is willing to work hard, takes ownership, and does not tolerate laziness, poor execution, or a “just getting by” attitude.

4. Integrity is a non-negotiable requirement. No lying, hiding problems, manipulating data, or misrepresenting business performance. Issues must be reported honestly and transparently.

5. Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and able to communicate and report effectively in English in a professional working environment.

6. Strong frontline people-management, coaching, and execution capabilities. Able to work in a high-target and fast-paced collection operation.

Reporting Line

Directly reports to: Indonesia Operations Head (Chinese)

The role will also work directly with the company’s senior management team on key business and operational matters.
