PT Jones and Vining Indonesia is seeking an experienced Collection Assistant Manager to oversee Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections, Accounting, and Treasury activities. The role focuses on driving cash flow improvement, reducing DSO, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure accurate billing and timely collections.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 5–10 years in collections within manufacturing, with strong SAP (FICO/SD) and ERP skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting/Finance.
• 5–10 years experience in collections within manufacturing (shoes industry preferred).
• Strong understanding of Accounting, Treasury, Billing, Sales and Collection processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP (FICO and SD modules).
• Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Set billing collection goals and develop strategies to improve collections effectiveness.
• Liaise with departments to ensure billing and collection processes run smoothly.
• Monitor accounts receivable portfolio for timely and full collection of receivables.
• Communicate with customers to resolve discrepancies and billing issues.
• Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress.
• Establish and implement policies for debt collection.

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Collection Assistant Manager to oversee the company's Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collection, Accounting, and Treasury activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing collection strategies, improving cash flow, minimizing outstanding receivables, and ensuring effective coordination across departments.

Key responsibilities

Setting billing collection goals and developing strategies to increase the effectiveness of the collections process

Liaise with other departments to ensure billing and collection process

Monitoring and controlling the accounts receivable portfolio for the application of timely and full collection of receivables

Communicating with customers to address discrepancies and resolve billing issues

Preparing and presenting reports on collection activities and progress

Establishing and implementing policies and procedures for collecting debts

Negotiating with clients in non-payment cases

Predicting and monitoring financial credit risks

Ensuring all transactions are processed promptly and correctly

Improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO): Reducing the average time to collect payments

About you

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance

Minimum 5 years and maximum 10 years experience in collection from manufacturing industry (Shoes Industry preferred)

Strong understanding of Accounting, Treasury, Billing, Sales Process and Collection process

Hands on experience with SAP (FICO and SD module)

Proficient in ERP systems and advanced in Excel

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate numbers into business insights

Good communication skills, detail-oriented, structured, and able to work cross-functionally
