Job summary

PT Sucden Coffee Indonesia seeks an experienced Sustainability & Research professional to support sustainability and agronomy activities, oversee field teams, and contribute to the company’s sustainability strategy with robust production and supply chain insights.

The role involves ensuring certification standards, leading field teams, and monitoring research projects to drive continuous improvement across Southern Sumatra crops and supply chain operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in agronomy, sustainability certification, project management, or related field, preferably in coffee/commodity industry.
• Proven experience managing and supervising field teams.
• Good knowledge of sustainability certification standards (4C, UTZ, Rainforest Alliance).
• Proficient in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with sustainability certification and verification standards, including 4C, Rainforest Alliance, and SCV.
• Lead and supervise agronomy and field teams to implement sustainability and research activities.
• Plan, document, monitor, and report on sustainability and research projects with transparency.
• Conduct audits and support quality assurance through corrective actions and evaluations.
• Coordinate with local and international partners and represent the company in sustainability forums.
