Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agricultural sciences (plant science, soil & water management) or related fields.
• 1-3 years of coffee cultivation experience focusing on plant protection.
• Proficiency with irrigation systems.
• Strong knowledge of soil and plant principles.
• Computer proficiency, MS Office and diagnostic software.
• Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Focus on coffee plant cultivation from planting to harvesting.
• Maximize agricultural productivity and optimal plant growth.
• Develop planting, cultivation, and harvesting techniques to improve yields.
• Study soil, water, and factors affecting growth.
• Visit fields to collect seeds, plants, and soil samples.
• Create nutrition plans for fertilizer applications based on soil tests.
• Test samples for nutrient deficiencies or diseases.
• Develop pest control plans using chemical, biological, or tech methods.
