Job summary

Rainforest Alliance Indonesia is seeking a Project Manager to lead the ACT! project accelerating sustainability in Indonesia, focusing on sustainable production of coffee, cocoa, tea and palm oil, with activity primarily in Yogyakarta and Bali and engagement with hospitality and retail sectors.

The role reports to the Country Director Indonesia and collaborates with global market teams and consortium partners to boost demand for sustainable products in Indonesia’s domestic market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communication, public relations, business management, environmental science, natural resources management or similar.
• 7+ years of demonstrated experience in project or program management.
• Experience leading internationally funded projects in sustainable consumption and production.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of ACT! Project by integrating work plan and budgeting process.
• Lead project implementation, ensuring staff, consultants and sub-contractors have clear roles and resources.
• Manage project staff following Rainforest Alliance HR policy, including recruitment.
• Lead high-quality narrative and financial reporting as per project requirements.
• Develop project strategy implementation to improve sustainable consumption and production of targeted commodities.
• Communicate with Ministries and align with government policies and programmes.
• Coordinate with regional and global teams to secure contributions to the project.
• Be part of Rainforest Alliance Indonesia senior staff and contribute to growth and strategy.
• Identify and develop opportunities for new resources to expand project activities and growth.
